Saarinen Chairs

After winning the MoMA-sponsored 1940 Organic Design in Home Furnishings competition, Eero Saarinen was inspired to design a chair that would provide exceptional comfort from its shell alone, not just from the furnishing. His luxurious and sculptural Saarinen Executive Chairs were the result, which continue to leave a lasting legacy in today’s furniture design.
